So when I run my `XclusiveMS.exe the 'no cap' window pops up, remains there for about 5 seconds, and then goes away and then nothing happens. I downloaded the window 8 MapleStory.exe in the downloads page, but when I run it, it takes me to the official MapleStory website (before and after I run the `XclusiveMS.exe). Help?

No you don't run MapleStory.exe , you download win8 MapleStory.exe , replace the it with the one in the v117 Folder & Run `XclusiveMS.exe as per normal after replacing the MapleStory.exe

Something that might be causing the problem; the download for the set-up of the game says it's 117.2, but when I double click the `Xclusive.exe the 'no damage cap' window says 117.1 . Is this intentional?

Yes , there's a windows popup. But after the windows popup is gone the game will appear in like 5 seconds or more .

I have actually gotten it to work: somehow, when I double clicked the 'Launcher.exe' it worked (the xclusiivemsawesomeclient showed up). F**k logic.
