I started the game as a mihile, and after killing some snails and mushrooms, it seems as though the game is running at normal 1x experience.

Hi , From level 1 - 10 , the exp rate is sort of " bugged " . You'll have to go through alittle bit of hard time getting to level 10 in the black map , but after that level 10 you'll be fine .
( This will only happen the first time you joined the server , not every rebirth ) .
